When you’re ready to use your miles, sign in to your Capital One account and redeem your miles your way. Here are five ideas to get you started.

There are a few ways you can use your miles to cover travel expenses: 

• Capital One Travel: Book a flight, hotel, vacation rental or rental car through Capital One Travel using your rewards. Venture and Venture X cardholders can also redeem their miles to book Lifestyle Collection hotels and vacation rentals. And Venture X cardholders can use their miles to book Premier Collection stays.

• Travel purchases: If you’ve made a recent travel purchase—from plane tickets to hotel stays and more—you can redeem your miles to cover the cost within 90 days of purchase.⁵

• Transfer miles to transfer partners: Transfer your miles to more than 15 Capital One transfer partners and book directly with them.⁶

You can redeem your miles for gift cards from more than 90 merchants, including popular restaurants, retailers and more. You can give the gift cards as presents, use them for regular purchases or put them toward big-ticket items.¹

You can turn miles into cash and redeem them for a statement credit or a check. The statement credit should appear on your account in as few as two to three business days. Checks are mailed within three business days.

You can use miles to pay for purchases at Amazon.com or at online stores through PayPal. You’re able to apply as many miles to your purchases as you’d like. If you don’t have enough, you can use your Capital One card to pay for the rest.^2,3

Capital One Entertainment lets eligible cardholders redeem miles for more than 500,000 events, including VIP packages, on-site perks and more. Whether you’re a sports fan, music lover or foodie, Capital One Entertainment has you covered.⁷

With the flexibility to use their miles their way, cardholders have access to many different airlines.

Capital One Travel gives customers access to book hundreds of airlines with your card, your rewards or a combination of both. Plus, access benefits like special discounts on specific destinations and price prediction to help you save money on flights.

You can also use your travel card to pay for flights directly with your airline of choice. You can then use your miles to offset the charge within 90 days.

You may be able to transfer your miles to Capital One’s transfer partners.⁶

Capital One rewards miles don’t expire as long as your account is open and in good standing. There’s also no limit to the number of miles you can earn.
